Murmuration

After playing with the shape of the bird origami for a while I wanted to create a piece that could float in the air and be installed inside or outside. Paper wasn’t durable enough for these purposes, so I started working with window screen material and it retained the shape and folded well. Using ribar tie wire to construct the mobile wires and fishing swivels to give each section more mobility. They float freely in the breeze and are mesmerizing to watch.
